4. Mission of the Subspecialty
Mettapracharak Hospital (Wat Rai Khing) defines its mission for fellowship training in Cornea, External disease and Refractive Surgery to align with the missions of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of Thailand and the hospital. The goal is to produce Cornea and Refractive Surgeon who possess knowledge, competence, standard quality, and moral ethics to respond to the needs of the community, society, and the expectations of Thailand’s health system.
The curriculum aims to train participants to become experts in both theory and practice, capable of independent practice and generating new knowledge, with the following skills:
